For the shipment of
vehicles you must present the title of ownership,
registry and the necessary
shipping documents.

For the shipment of
goods it is required the you present the
commercial invoice and the shipping documents.

For the shipment of
household goods and personal effects it is only
required to present shipment documentation.
The blanc consular form
costs US$5.00 + 12% Law 5113 it is US$5.60. The
consulates legalize the consular invoices for
imports when the goods consigned in the invoice
supersede the amount of US$1,000 -- the legalization
cost are of US$82.00. When the value of the
consigned invoice is less than US$1,000, the
legalization cost is of US$34.00.
Please note that
most
Canadian citizens and landed immigrants (*see
exceptions below)
in
Canada, regardless of
their nationality, do not need visa to enter the
Dominican Republic.
