The NGO Alliance is a network of non-profit organizations of recognized trajectory within the Dominican Republic.  Founded in April of 1995 it one of the principal multi-sectoral networks of the DR.  It's mission is the following::
 
To promote the non profit organizations NGO's, their contributions and their effect in the civil society, facilitating the inter-institutional coordination with the public and private sectors, to achieve common initiatives and/or the execution of joint projects, channeling technical and financial assistance, propitiating the participation and investment to increment the social , economic, and democratic development of the Dominican Republic. The Dominican Environment Consortium Inc., has as it's core mission the transfer of validated strategies and methodologies for the management, use  and conservation of the Natural Resources, with the objective of improving the environment quality and conditions of life for the people and their communities.
